Protect the Border Co-op Guide

Organize a Protect the Border party with clear inspection ownership, short calls, sunset preparation, and night-defense roles.

Protect the Border is officially a co-op/party experience for up to four border police officers. More players create useful parallel work only when each person owns a different responsibility. Four officers crowding one traveler are slower and more error-prone than two officers who know exactly who checks and who decides.

Form the party before the run

Use Roblox’s current friend, party, join, or private-server tools available to your group, then confirm that everyone entered Place 104589921852670. The exact invitation interface can change outside the experience, so follow the Roblox UI rather than an old screenshot. If one player cannot join, check privacy, device, and server access before starting a long Endless run.

Agree on four short calls: identity, trunk, decision, and night ready. Voice chat is optional; concise text or familiar signals work when every player understands them. Name one decision owner before the first vehicle so two people do not press conflicting actions.

Split daytime work by party size

With two officers, assign one to identity and face checks and one to the vehicle and trunk. The second player reports cargo state, and the decision owner repeats the conclusion before acting. Both players stop opening new work near the night transition.

With three officers, keep the two check owners and add a suspect runner or preparation player. That officer follows current cuffs/cells prompts, watches supplies, and warns when the transition approaches. Do not move a suspect based only on another player saying “bad”; wait for the specific evidence and action.

With four officers, the fourth can watch the line, manage a second support task, or prepare a night position. The public description confirms a maximum of four officers, not a required four-person role template. Adjust to the interface and party skill.

Document owner

Reads identity fields, compares the face, and calls a precise match or mismatch.

Day role
Vehicle owner

Checks interactive vehicle areas and the trunk, then calls the visible cargo state.

Day role
Decision owner

Waits for both tracks, repeats the conclusion, and presses one final action.

Day role
Preparation runner

Completes suspect movement or supply work without abandoning an active team check.

Transition role

Communicate evidence, not opinions

“Suspicious” is too vague when another player must choose an action. Say what you saw: “face mismatch,” “trunk flagged,” “identity clear,” or “hold, check incomplete.” The player who performs a check owns that call. The decision owner should not guess a result from where another avatar is standing.

Agree on a bribe policy before an offer appears. The official description confirms that the choice exists, but public first-party data does not explain who receives the payout, whether the squad shares it, or the exact night consequence. If your server demonstrates an ownership rule, announce it to the team and date the observation rather than assuming it applies forever.

Transition together at sunset

Use a readiness call with four parts: active vehicle finished, suspect flow finished, loadouts checked, positions named. Do not let one player begin another inspection after the rest of the squad has moved away. If the current UI shows a timer or warning, use it; the public description does not give a fixed shift length.

At night, convert jobs. The durable or sustained-fire player can hold the main lane. A long-range player watches an approach. Another covers the flank and reloads. A runner moves only after calling the route and confirming coverage. Two players should not reload or leave the line at the same time without a replacement.

Build a squad from roles

Official class descriptions support several obvious identities. Juggernaut has 250 HP and an M249 for a lane role. Ghillie Sniper carries SVD and Desert Eagle for overwatch. SAS Operator offers 170 HP with HK416 and P226 as a flexible rifle kit. Frog Man and Hazmat Soldier provide other confirmed rifle loadouts.

Do not assume four premium classes are required. A coordinated earnable roster can outperform expensive kits played without role discipline. Fill the missing job rather than buying the same class as the strongest player. Check Best Classes for conditional choices and Best Weapons for range coverage.

Recover when the squad loses control

If two players conflict on a traveler, pause the queue and restore one decision owner. If night begins while everyone is scattered, move the readiness call earlier. If the lane collapses during simultaneous reloads, stagger them. If the runner repeatedly gets trapped, shorten the route or remove the runner job until pressure drops.

Connection problems matter in long Endless runs. Decide before starting what the team will do if the host or strongest lane player disconnects. Persistence and reconnect behavior are not explained publicly, so test them in a short run rather than promising that progress will survive.

Co-op FAQ

How many players can join?

The official description says up to four border police officers.

Should two players inspect the same vehicle?

They can split evidence tracks, but only one person should own the final decision. Duplicating every check creates conflicts rather than speed.

Does every squad need Juggernaut?

No. Its confirmed health and M249 make it a clear lane candidate, but coordination and coverage matter more than copying one premium kit.

Are rewards and progress shared?

The public description does not explain ownership, sharing, or persistence. Observe the current server and avoid planning a purchase around an assumed rule.
