Weapons matter when Protect the Border shifts from inspection to survival, but the store contains several different purchase types. Some passes permanently add an extra weapon to the normal loadout, some weapon names are part of a class kit, and economy passes change resource pressure instead of adding firepower. Treat those as separate decisions.

The public Game Pass catalog confirms sixteen standalone extra-weapon products. It also gives prices and short purpose descriptions, but it does not publish damage, rate of fire, reload time, spread, boss multipliers, or a complete earnable arsenal. This hub helps you choose by range and team job while keeping performance claims provisional.

Know what the pass adds

Many official descriptions explicitly say the weapon is carried on top of the normal loadout in every match. That wording appears for the 50 CAL, PKM, SPAS 12, G36, TAR 21, FAMAS, AS VAL, and similar products. Other descriptions still promise permanent use in every match without repeating the phrase. The safe interpretation is that these are persistent pass unlocks, but the exact number of simultaneous extras and duplicate behavior should be checked in the live loadout.

A class pass works differently. Juggernaut includes an M249 and Desert Eagle, SAS includes HK416 and P226, Frog Man includes AS VAL and Ruger SR9, Hazmat includes FAMAS and Colt 1911, and Ghillie Sniper includes SVD and Desert Eagle. Buying the standalone version can broaden another class, but it may add little while you stay on the class that already carries it.

The catalog also lists Infinite Ammo as an economy/combat utility pass rather than a gun. Prices and sale status were checked August 26, 2026 and can change.

Match range to the checkpoint job

At the booth or a tight approach, a controllable close-range option can be more useful than a long rifle that needs distance. On a road or open lane, assault rifles offer a general-purpose role. Marksman and anti-materiel rifles fit overwatch when another player protects the shooter. Machine guns fit sustained lane pressure when the user can hold position and manage visibility.

These are role descriptions, not proven damage rankings. Current community tier lists commonly place PKM, M249, and 50 CAL high for later defense, and recommend SPAS 12 or inexpensive rifles for closer work. Those recommendations are community reported because the public API does not expose combat statistics and the pages do not publish a reproducible test method.

Use Best Weapons for a conditional shortlist. It ranks the job first and leaves unsupported damage, fire rate, and boss claims blank.

Check class overlap before spending

Juggernaut

Already includes M249. Buy the standalone pass only if you want M249 on another class.

Confirmed overlap
SAS Operator

Already includes HK416. Compare the class price and role before buying both.

Confirmed overlap
Frog Man

Already includes AS VAL. The standalone pass mainly expands other kits.

Confirmed overlap
Hazmat Soldier

Already includes FAMAS. Avoid paying twice for the same immediate loadout goal.

Confirmed overlap
Ghillie Sniper

Already includes SVD. The class is the stronger identity purchase for dedicated overwatch.

Confirmed overlap

The exact simultaneous-loadout and duplicate rules need an in-game test. The official wording confirms the included weapons and extra-weapon intent, but not every equipment-slot interaction.

Test weapons without fooling yourself

Compare weapons on the same device, similar latency, same class, same approximate night, and similar target distance. Record ease of aiming, time spent reloading, whether the weapon kept the lane under control, and how often another teammate had to cover you. Do not call a weapon “best” because one boss died during a run where three other officers focused the same target.

If the game exposes ammunition, damage, or other statistics, capture the current UI and check date. If it does not, use operational observations instead of invented numbers. A weapon that feels strong at close range may be weak in overwatch simply because the range and sight picture do not match the job.

Decide whether Infinite Ammo changes the purchase

Infinite Ammo officially says the ammo reserve never runs out in every match. That can change the value of high-consumption weapons, but it does not prove that magazines, reload animations, heat, or other handling constraints disappear. Test those behaviors in the current version.

Do not treat Infinite Ammo as a reason to buy the most expensive gun automatically. A weapon still needs the right range, control, and role. Compare the utility pass against a class or economy pass that solves a broader problem for your account.

Weapons FAQ

What is the cheapest confirmed extra weapon price?

FAMAS, TAR 21, and SPAS 12 were each 99 Robux in the public catalog on August 26, 2026.

Which pass is the most expensive?

Ray Gun was 799 Robux on the same check. Price does not prove performance or value.

Is PKM confirmed to have 100 rounds?

Its official pass description says it has a 100-round belt. Other performance fields remain unlisted.

Are there free or class weapons beyond this list?

Yes, class descriptions confirm standard weapons, and community guides report a broader live arsenal. This hub calls the standalone pass catalog complete for the checked API response, not the entire game arsenal.
