Endless Mode is officially available in Protect the Border. The creator describes infinite days, longer shifts, worse nights, and bigger bosses. That establishes an escalating long-run mode, but the public page does not state its menu entry, scaling formula, rewards, save rules, disconnect handling, or whether a run can be resumed.
Confirm the current entry and exit rules
Open the current mode selection or start interface and read the description shown in your server. Confirm how the party enters together and whether the game warns about leaving, saving, or reconnecting. Test with a short run before planning a long session.
Do not rely on an old screenshot for the menu path. BETA interfaces can move. If a friend joins late, observe whether they enter the active run, wait outside, or start separately; the public description does not settle late-join behavior.
Set a run goal before day one
Choose a goal the team can control: complete a certain number of clean day shifts, practice role handoffs, test one class comparison, or survive until the group’s agreed stop time. Do not build the plan around a rumored day reward or boss drop that has no current source.
Agree on a stop condition. Connection quality, fatigue, or repeated communication failure can end a long run even when the mode itself has no final day. A planned exit is better than an avoidable wipe caused by players assuming someone else will stay.
Recheck roles every day
Longer shifts create more opportunities for inspection mistakes and attention loss. Worse nights increase the cost of scattered preparation. At the start of each day, confirm document owner, vehicle owner, final decision owner, and night positions. Rotate jobs if one player needs a break, but make the handoff explicit.
Confirm inspection ownership, bribe policy, live currency target, and the stop-new-vehicles call.
Every dayConfirm anchor, overwatch, flank cover, reload calls, and fallback position.
Before darkIdentify the first failure from the previous cycle and change one controllable cause.
After recoveryPace resources without invented numbers
Use only the resources and prices visible in the current game. The public description does not publish an Endless reward or supply table. If the team has Cash or Gold goals, record balances at consistent checkpoints and keep economy multipliers separate from base earnings.
Infinite Ammo officially says the reserve never runs out, but that does not prove magazines, reloads, heat, or weapon-specific constraints disappear. Test handling before assigning one player to permanent sustained fire. Do not spend every currency unit on a class without checking whether the current run needs other purchases.
Expect direction, not a formula
“Every shift longer, every night worse, every boss bigger” is an official direction of travel. It is not evidence for a fixed percentage per day, a guaranteed boss calendar, or a named final difficulty tier. Record the day and observed change if you compare scaling.
When a later night feels harder, separate possible causes: normal mode progression, accepted decisions, different party size, a changed class, server latency, or an update. One run cannot isolate all of them.
Handle disconnects and handoffs
Before starting, decide who owns the run decision if one player leaves. Keep critical roles redundant enough that another officer can cover temporarily. If the anchor disconnects, the remaining team should regroup to a safer position rather than pretending the same lane plan still works.
Persistence and reconnect behavior need a current live test. Do not promise that a private server, rejoin, or new party will restore progress. Capture the message the game shows and date the result.
Improve across a long session
Use small changes. Standardize a missed inspection field, move the fallback position, stagger reloads, or remove a duplicate weapon role. Do not overhaul the entire squad after one difficult night. Later days are valuable because they expose which routines remain stable under pressure.
Use the Night Survival guide for defense fundamentals and Bosses for the encounter protocol. Use Money and Gold when an economy decision is distracting the team from survival.
Endless Mode FAQ
Is Endless Mode out now?
Yes. The official description explicitly marked it available on August 26, 2026.
Are days truly infinite?
The official description says infinite days. Practical sessions still depend on survival, connection, party availability, and any live session limits.
Is there a fixed reward per day?
No public first-party reward table was available. Record current result screens rather than trusting an undated number.
Can I save and resume?
The public description does not say. Test the current menu and reconnect behavior with a short run before committing hours.
